PM Boom Pump BSF 42-09 at World’s Biggest Refinery

Putzmeister has become the first company in India to launch a Homologated 42 m Boom Pump on a normal truck chassis, which is allowed to have a smooth run on the Indian roads. This time Essar became the First customer for the machine in India has recently purchased BSF 42 from Putzmeister to carry out operations at its Jamnagar Oil Refinery, which after its completion will become the biggest Refinery in the World.

ESSAR has already deployed a comprehensive product range of Putzmeister-1 unit of BSF2007 Boom Pump and 8 units of BSF36-09 Boom Pumps. BSF 42-09 Boom Pump

BSF 42 is the latest launch in Putzmeister series of Boom pumps. The Boom Pump is equipped with 5 arms for better reach and maneuverability even in areas with scanty space and operating restrictions. It has a maximum vertical reach of 41.6m (136ft) and horizontal reach of 37.6m (123ft). In addition to this, it is also fit out with a 137 cu‎m/hr core pump and is mounted on a homologated chassis allowed to run on Indian roads. This BSF 42 has specially designed big mouth S-valve for harsh concrete and also has Free Flow Hydraulics for better performance and low hydraulic oil consumption, Cross Outriggers for better stability with lesser ground space and high wear resistant of steel components.

BSF 36-09 Boom Pump

It may be recalled that two years ago, Putzmeister launched its 36m Boom in India on a 3-axle homologated truck matching the weight norms of Indian road regulations. It was a big success in the industry that enabled Putzmeister to corner more than half of the total Boom Pump share of the Indian market. The pump has got maximum vertical reach of 35.6m (116ft) and horizontal reach of (104ft). The Pump is mounted with separate slave / deck engine for lower operational costs and reduced fuel consumption.
