Macons unveils higher capacity batch mix plants; ventures into AWPs

Macons displayed its new higher capacity MAC-240, 240 cum/hr concrete batch mix plant. Its modular design ensures ease of transportation, assembly and disassembly. It can be erected and commissioned within one week. With its twin shaft mixer (the most advanced mixing solution), the plant can handle high to zero slump concrete. The automated plant combines the power of a PLC-based dedicated weighing module to provide reliable and accurate control, and can handle multi scale, multi ingredient batching and mixing operations. This is backed by interlocking timing, alarm generation, event logging, and reports on the performance of the plant. For ease of operation, the manual desk is equipped with push buttons, indication and change over switches. Each device in the plant can be operated manually completely by passing the auto system.

Said Dharmesh Surelia, MD, Macons Equipments, "The new offering reinforces our presence as a reliable solutions provider in concrete batching. The plant further strengthens our position in the concrete road construction of national and state highways. The new plant is most suitable for 15 meters wide concrete road and for pavers with 7-10 meters width."
Macons also displayed its new Macons Socage, truck-mounted, articulated and telescopic boom access work platforms. "Manufactured under joint venture with Socage, we will be looking to promote the AWP for metro projects, airport maintenance and construction, and industrial construction jobs, informed Surelia.

The AWP is being offered in two models: Macons Socage DA324 and T318; the former comes with 24-m working height, while the latter comes with 18-m working height. The products are being offered with a chassis option with mounting of the unit on the chassis and related product support by Macons.
