KYB-Conmat's Construction Equipment: Raising the Benchmark

Water, one of the most precious resources, affects more than 60% of India’s population engaged in agriculture. Dams and canals that play a vital role in irrigation and drinking, serve as the water capillaries of the country. KYB-Conmat is a major supplier of equipment for canal construction such as main canals, branch canals, and distributaries or minor canals. Since paving equipment is strongly recommended here, KYB–Conmat supplied its Concrete Paver Machines to many major projects across India, namely the Polavaram Indira Sagar Project in Telangana, Kaleshwaram Project in Andhra Pradesh, Narmada Project in Gujarat, Lower Ganga in Uttar Pradesh, Nagarjuna Sagar in Telangana, amongst others.

KCPL pavers are hydraulic-free, operation-friendly and give high output. The company’s Concrete Paver Machines have been used in many irrigation projects, and more than 800 pavers are working in various canal projects across the country. The pavers are equipped with vibratory attachments for independent vibrators, thus, achieving a high-quality finish. Construction joints are either by Groove Cutters or PVC water stop and Crack inducing strips, depending on the project’s requirement.

The Pavers are capable of a steep slope paving up to 1:1 (45) degree inclination. Support accession like side discharge conveyor for uniform concrete pouring, either flat or inclined in front of paver, walk way behind pavers for inspection purpose or minor hand finish. Paving capacity ranges from 200 to 380 sq.mtr/hr.


KYB–Conmat Pavers are very versatile and can be adapted in various paving sequences like Single/Two/Three or for multipurpose paving, depending on canal cross sections. Secondly, Concrete Mixers are best suited for carrying and discharging low slump concrete with larger aggregates.
