Sicoma Mixers India Pvt Ltd, (SMIPL) a 100% subsidiary of Sicoma srl-Italy was incorporated in India in 2007. It currently has its headquarter in Bangalore, Karnataka.
Sicoma srl is a leading manufacturer of concrete mixers in the world, catering to various applications in concrete and concrete products. The company manufactures Twin Shaft Mixers, Planetary Mixers, Turbine Mixers and Continuous Mixers. Along with the mixers Sicoma also provides consultancy and products for concrete conveying systems.
Indian construction industry day by day is inching towards positive growth, both in terms of technology used and productivity achieved. Considering the disadvantages of the conventional mixers used in India, companies have now started looking towards Planetary Mixers and Twin Shaft Mixers as the best options for their quality and productivity requirements.

Planetary mixers in smaller capacity are offered as better substitutes for Pan and Reversible drum mixers due to the homogeneity of mix achieved in least possible time. Small, medium and large size Planetary mixers (ie, of capacity from 0.5 Cu.M to 2.5 Cu.M per batch) are most recommended for dry cast, low slump applications such as concrete pipes, concrete pavers, interlocks, prefab components, hollow core slabs etc.
Twin Shaft Mixers are becoming more popular in higher capacity plants due to low wear and tear, better productivity and quality of mix.
