After its success in Gujarat, Qualimark Machines plans expansion in other states across India
Gujarat-based Qualimark Machines is a manufacturer of reversible drum mixers with a programmable water dispenser system; hoppers in capacities up to 1050 liters and production rate of 15 cu.m./hr; mini cranes with lifting capacity of 0.5 ton to 1 ton; and bar bending cum cutting machine for bars of 6 mm to 42 mm.
“Our bar cutting machines can bend 10-15 rods in 5-10 minutes and can bend bars in square, ring, and hexagon shapes. Since the machine is a combination of bending and cutting machines, users do not have to deploy two machines at project sites, which makes it economical,” informs Nimesh Pithava, Director, Qualimark Machines.
“Despite the crisis in the market due to the increase in price of iron, steel, and fuel, we are seeing a lot of demand for our products from all over India as construction is going on in full force. The GDP may have fallen by around 13%, but there is a good pick-up rate in the construction industry,” he adds. “Plus, our products are of high quality and are priced at an affordable rate. We also make compact machines so that logistics and installation is less of a challenge for our customers.”
Qualimark Machines has a 45,000 sq.ft. factory in Gujarat that holds the ISO 9001:2015 certification. It has a different line for food processing equipment, which is being exported to about 20 countries. “We aim to achieve the same number of exports for our construction machinery division as well, but first we would like to expand to Karnataka, Kerala, and the eastern and northern parts of India, after our huge success in Gujarat,” says Pithava.
