Logistics: The Cornerstone of Economic Progress

As India surges ahead in becoming a US$ 5 trillion economy, the Indian logistics sector is at the forefront of various drivers enabling these aspirations. Post the announcement of NLP, India’s logistics infrastructure has shown steady growth. The industry was valued at $210 billion as of 2022, and in the ensuing years, a CAGR of 8–10% is expected. Without logistics, the global supply chain would not be able to function smoothly, and businesses would struggle to meet customer demands. On National Logistics Day, we bring forth views of industry leaders on government initiatives, digitalisation, innovation, and automation in the industry.
