Cometto with the most powerful blade lifter
The new BladeMAX1000 from Cometto made its world premiere at bauma Munich. With a lifting capacity of 1000 mT, this blade lifter is by far the strongest of its kind on the market. Such a special vehicle is used to safely transport the latest mega-wind turbine blades on the “last mile” to the assembly site. It joins Cometto's BladeMAX series, which now has three variants: BladeMAX650, BladeMAX800 and BladeMAX1000. In all of them, the patented stability control system ensures maximum handling stability.

The competence center for self-propelled vehicles within the Faymonville Group is Cometto, showcased two self-propelled vehicles: The 4-axle Eco1000 is distinguished by the fact that its Powerpack Unit is integrated under the loading platform. The exhibit is based on hybrid technology, which is absolutely groundbreaking in this segment. Also displayed was an electronically steered MSPE self-propelled 6-axle version.

Faymonville with the widest range
Everyday work and transport tasks are becoming increasingly flexible. All-rounders are the solution in demand, and Faymonville had several on display. A 6-axle MultiMAX semi-trailer has a pronounced excavator trough and, with its low pendle-axle PA-X, provides a consistently low loading height of 790 millimeters. Another exhibit of the MultiMAX product range was a 4-axle variant, characterized by its hydraulically extendable loading platform. Faymonville introduced this technology to special transport a few years ago. At the push of a button, it goes continuously from 2,540 millimeters to 3,200 millimeters. Precisely everything adapts to the machine to be transported.

The 1+3 GigaMAX lowbed trailer is characterized by the pendle-axle integrated in the gooseneck. A 3+5 VarioMAX Plus lowbed combination is intended for the higher payload range. Due to its excavator deck, tracked vehicles can be transported suspended with minimum ground clearance. The highlights are the joker axles, which can be integrated as required. This reduces the axle load, if necessary, which makes it easier to obtain.

Mobile lifting and height access technology can be used quickly and flexibly. The MultiMAX Plus semi-trailer hydraulically lifting and lowering loading platform comes into question for their transport. The vehicle has a weight-optimized design with a consistently high point load capacity. In addition, the extremely flat ramp angle in the area of the ramps and the gooseneck ensures that vehicles with low ground clearance can drive up more easily. And despite the full-surface grating, the loading height remains low.

The ModulMAX AP-M product type designates a mechanically steered heavy-duty module that combines the assist mode with the independent self-propelled mode. The driven axles can be switched on and off, up to a maximum of 40 km/h. The operator does not have to stop the convoy for this maneuver, as is the case with other suppliers. In combination with the high traction, this is a unique feature. This type of modular vehicle also celebrated its world premiere in Munich. For the wind energy sector, a wind blade adapter, including a self-steering combination, was on site for inspection. The future belongs to this maneuverable concept for transporting wind blades up to 100 meters long.

MAX Trailer with four vehicles
The MAX Trailer brand has revolutionized the special transport sector due to its modular design. Four exhibits underlined the diversity of the range. The A 5-axle MAX410 ballast trailer is suitable for transporting compact crane weights. The telescopic MAX100 offers maximum versatility with its two pairs of wheel recesses and an excavator trough. Among the towed trailers, the 2+2 axle MAX600 with cranked loading platform, drive-on ramps, and excavator trough is one of the newcomers. And from the MAX510 lowbed series, was a version with three pendle-axles.
