Fire in Tall Buildings An Overview of Resources

This article presents research and studies on fire incidents in tall buildings and gives an understanding of the fire safety measures and strategies that can be taken towards ensuring fire safety.

In 1800 B.C. the Amorite king, Hammurabi, took the throne of the new Babylonian dynasty and established an extensive law system which encompassed nearly every area of ancient life. The code of Hammurabi made the builder accountable for the houses he built. If one of his buildings fell down and killed someone, the builder would be put to death.
