Compact Hydraulics for Walvoil is a strategical product line composed not only of a huge offer of components but by an offer/proposal of integrated solutions for many different applications. They include SAE cartridges and flow diverters through specific catalogues and website selection guide.

An emerging product family of the Walvoil Compact Hydraulic is the SDX new bankable valves that focus on electric control. The new SDX has been developed to offer the market a compact solution with high control performance following the modern needs for high value power density. The drive line of the product lay out has been the mobile market. The accuracy in the control is ensured by Walvoil’s components.
Mobile market, Aerial Platforms, Truck mounted Cranes, Attachments, Municipal Vehicles, and all the applications where a flow up to 40LPm per section with local compensation and Ls pumps combination is requested, are the application fields of this new family, which will integrate the well-known range of proportional pre and post compensated controls already produced by Walvoil.
The Walvoil/Galtech branded Pumps-Motors range has been expanding while maintaining high quality standards. The external gear pumps consist of 3 groups: 1SP, 2SP (12 teeth) and 3GP (10 teeth) with 32 displacements from 0.89 to 77 cc/rev suited to various applications in the field of mobile with high industrial power-to-weight and power/size ratios. One can reach high pressures up to 300 bar and maximum speeds of rotation of 4000 rpm.
Galtech pumps can be assembled with complete interchangeability both with standard flanges (European, German, SAE) and with special flanges used with a variety of shafts such as the cylindrical, conical grooved and milled ones with front tooth. Several cast-iron covers and flanges are available to reduce noise and increase operating limits. Covers with pressure relief valve and flow control valves can be assembled as well. All the pumps are arranged for mounting into one or more additional units to complete multiple pumps. Different coupling solutions are available for construction compactness or a more flexible interchangeability.
XMH Handle is the new ergonomic mid-size handle with soft touch coating for comfortable hand grip. The symmetric design makes it suitable for both right- and left-hand applications, and has up to 4 control elements (thumbwheels, push buttons, rocker switches) on the operator side, with an option of the FNR switch in the opposite side of the handle. Due to its strong mechanical structure and advanced electronic design, the new HJW Heavy Duty Joystick is suitable for harsh environments and safety applications. Its mechanical and electrical life reaches 3 million cycles on each axis. It is possible to customize the actuating force and the pre-feeling of each axis with the 4 independent plungers and springs. With the Deutsch connectors and the electronic board potted with resin, the joystick base is completely sealed (IP67/IPx9K). An electromagnetic detent of each axis is available as option.
With the high number of input pins, the electronic board can collect all the signals of the handle (thumbwheels, push buttons, rocker switches, etc) and send them over the CANbus network with SAE J1939, CanOpen, CanOpen Safety or ISOBUS protocol. The electronic board of the joystick is designed with Hardware Category 2 and is capable of reaching Performance Level D / SIL 2.
SVM980: Walvoil’s new hydraulic pilot control valve has the lowest operating forces amongst its entire range of hydraulic pilot control valves, and the possibility to manage and regulate high flow rates with the large diameters of the spools - a useful and necessary condition especially on large machines.
WST pro: the new Walvoil Service Tool to be launched at bauma, can be connected with all Walvoil electronic components and integrates all the current tools (bootloader, configurator, diagnostics). New ergonomic and intuitive graphical human machine interface simplifies and improves its usability. With this tool it is possible to calibrate and configure the applications; monitor I/O signals in real time; execute in-field system diagnostic; and update the Firmware and Software in the field.
