Terex MP: Expanding and enhancing applications
Terex MP display included Terex Finlay's latest TF-75L low lever feeder, designed to maximize productivity, enhance efficiency, and reduce onsite operational costs in a wide range of applications and feed material types. The large 7m3 (9.2yds3) hopper with a feed in height of 1900mm and width of 3500mm enables low level feeding directly from excavators, grab cranes, and wheel loaders. For onsite safety and quick set-up, the hopper is fitted as standard with hydraulically folding sides. Depending on the application, a number of grid and hopper extension options for particularly abrasive materials, and a steel apron feeder option is also available. Tracked mobility and the ability to feed material from all three sides enables the TF-75L to be easily incorporated into open and closed-circuit static and mobile crushing and screening circuits.
Terex Finlay J-1160 second generation jaw crusher, in comparison to its predecessor, has a number of improvements such as increased under jaw clearance and all-round preventative maintenance and serviceability access. The heartbeat of the machine is the renowned and aggressive Terex 1000 x 600mm (40" x 24") jaw crusher with a proven pedigree in recycling, demolition and aggregate production applications. The machine is designed for maximum fuel efficiency, delivering one of the lowest cost per ton, and features updated and larger heavy duty variable speed vibrating grizzly feeder with integrated pre-screen.
Terex Finlay also introduced the latest addition to their 8-Series line up of heavy duty screeners - the 883+ triple shaft - developed specifically to work in a variety of dry and difficult applications in quarry, mining, sand and gravel, construction and demolition debris and in recycling jobs.
From Terex Washing Systems (TWS) division, live washing demos were presented of their game-changing AggWash 60™ which incorporates screening, scrubbing, sizing and recovery of sand on one modular chassis and produces up to six grades of saleable sand. The AggWash™ is for requirements of recycling customers and quarry owners, particularly in the construction, demolition and excavation waste recycling market. The high-performance solution has been designed to maximize yields from feed materials with efficiently designed system processes that keep running costs at a minimum.
Terex Powerscreen® division showcased its revolutionary OMNI - a revolutionary new system that will help improve jobsite safety and efficiency in operating crushing and screening equipment. This tablet-based system is fitted within the cab of a material feed excavator and it provides centralised remote access to multiple machine control systems within a crushing and screening train. It has been diligently and intuitively designed to give easy-to-use control to operators with information and views of the entire machine train.
