Sany Heavy Industries India is actively working out newer business strategies to drive sales of its concreting equipment comprising of concrete batch mix plants, transit mixers, and the newly introduced Cat head tower cranes. The company recently organized a promotional event in Delhi for showcasing its product range and technical competitiveness. P.P. Basistha reports.

He added, “New in the portfolio is our tower crane for which we have begun assembly at our Pune facility. Launched this year in June, the SYT 63 (T 5013-5) 5-ton tower crane is the best in class offering in the category. Suited for lifting steel and other sections, the crane is highly suitable for high rise lifting solutions. It comes with high levels of ruggedness as it is made of Q 345 grade of steel, and made highly durable through appropriate levels of shot blasting on the surface. Limit switches for all three mechanisms, anti-collision device, anemometer for gauging wind pressure, seamless tubular masts and resting platform in every section of the masts are the additional features.”

Mr. Saxena said, “Based on the rising demand of concrete from concrete road construction, we are excited about the demand prospects of our concrete batching plants. We are well positioned to offer concreting batching solutions between 90-360 cum/hr plants. However, our present offerings in India comprise of highly productive SBP 60F, 60 cum/hr and SBP 30, 30 cum/hr batching plants, featuring Sany’s own twin shaft mixers. This enables the plants to accommodate varied sizes of aggregates, making them highly suitable for concrete roads and other infrastructure projects. The mixers ensure superior mix quality with less maintenance and high efficiency. Both the plants follow advanced modular containerized design. This enables ease of assembly and dismantling, and also ease of transport. The plants come with a centralized lubrication system for the twin shaft mixer with patented close self-lubricating end shaft bearing design, enabling the mixer unit to have a longer life and ease of maintainability.”
He informed that Sany will be strengthening its product support initiatives for the concrete products, including specialized training to ensure optimum utilization of the equipment. To take forwardsales of its concrete batch mix plants, the company has set up a separate concrete business vertical, which will look after sales and provide product support. Within the entire range, Sany will be looking to promote 30-60, 90-180 cum/hr concrete batch mix plants, and its road equipment solutions through direct sales, and may also appoint dealers in a phased manner.
