What would be the focus of your company's participation at International Mining and Machinery Exhibition (IMME) India's largest trade fair dedicated to the mining industry to be held in Kolkata in December, this year?
From DOZCO perspective, mining sector has an excellent potential to grow in the emerging market of India in comparison to the construction industry. For example, there is huge deficit in demand and supply of Coal. The demand of Coal will be almost 2 Billion Tons by 2020, and presently we produce just 500 Million Tons.Likewise, we expect good growth in the mining of other Minerals too, which may ultimately lead to the good growth in the Equipment business and after market spare parts.
However, in the current market scenario the delays in the new upcoming and running projects caused due to the financial crunch and some government policies are not encouraging. Though, few government companies are still going on as per their schedule and continuing the procurement process.
DOZCO consider IMME as a respectable platform and a dedicated fair for Mining sector in the country. We will keep focussing on the Mining segment with our main mining equipment like, Bull Dozer, Wheel Loaders, Tire Handlers, Rock Breakers and OEM after market spare parts, which are already proven with the excellent performance in different subsidiaries of Coal India.

Do you think that participation at IMME would help in promoting company's marketing objectives and vivificate a new dimension to its business areas?
IMME being the dedicated largest fair for Mining in India will always be beneficial up to some extend. DOZCO are expecting large numbers of visitors from the Mining segment and consider it as a good common platform for all the customers from different part of the country.
From marketing point of view, IMME is helpful for sharing the information with the customers about our new and complete range of products with after sales and service facilities. The most important tool is it helps in sharing the working information of our products in the Indian market.

DOZCO will keep focussing on the same, as we believe “Customers are our most valuable assets.”
Currently, there is a big gap between supply and demand of construction & mining equip- ment; what are the initiatives at your end for the value added services the company is offering, to capture major market share?
Indeed, the gap is huge between the demand and supply and we hope that the government will take initiative steps, like new investments, which might help to bridge the gap.
DOZCO's approach to the Indian market is to launch innovative and environment-friendly products with low operating cost. We will keep encouraging our customers with an outstanding after sales and service support.
DOZCO has some future plans to enter into manufacturing during their 30th year of celebration.
To sum up, DOZCO's objective is that “Our clients make money out of our products and services” and building sincere and friendly relationship with our clients.
Lack of trained machine operators is a matter of great concern today; how do you address this issue?
The losses occurred due to untrained operators are never accounted for, if we do so than the cost of running an institute to train these operator will be considerably low. Therefore, in our opinion an individual equipment manufacturer must run a workshop to train the operators and also by producing a user-friendly machines.

MOBA' Latest Automation Systems
This year MOBA is launching two of its latest automation systems. MDM-100, cost effective drill depth measurement system for drilling machine and WEIGHLOADER – weighing system for wheel loaders in addition to the recently launched machine control system for excavators, GS-506 motor grader leveling system for earthmoving and the Big Sonic-Ski® for sensor pavers. Together with the MOBA-matic controller, the Big Sonic-Ski, that eliminates the painstaking string line method, is the most flexible leveling system for sensor pavers. Also on display will be the new HMI concept for the OEMs who wish to upgrade their operating panels. These systems shall be on display at IMME 2012 - Kolkata, from 5th -8th December. You can visit us at booth no: C3 in Hanger 3.

MOBA MDM-100: More efficiency by increasing working speed, reducing cost and improving quality
A recent development by MOBA has completely changed the perception of possible automation on drilling machines and drilling rigs. MOBA has come up with a low cost Drill Depth Control System, MDM-100.

WEIGHLOADER – fully automatic dynamic weighing system for wheel loaders
This new development is backed up by market research and feedbacks from users, focusing the mining industry which demands for a cost effective solution for such applications. With fewer components it has become possible for quick and easy installations. MDM-100 is a derivative of the high end system – MDS 2000, for Drilling Machines which is well acclaimed by renowned OEMs.
On the basis of our expertise and knowhow of the drilling process we could enhance the system not only with the indication of the real time drill depth but also with controlling the drilling process and automatically stop the operation at a preset drilling depth.
Due to its low cost, compact and modular architecture we expect OEMs shall consider this to be a standard fitment to achieve better efficiency for the drilling process.
Precise drill depth control helps achieving better productivity, fuel efficiency by reducing active drill duration.
With a rising demand for accurate first time loading WEIGHLOADER has proven its performance in mines and wagon loading applications. Due to heavy penalties for overloading and loss in freight charges in cases of underloading there has been a growing acceptance for this system. With its advanced graphic display, proven sensor technology and user friendly interface it has become easy for the operators to operate the system while achieving accurate loading at the first instance. While the operator is used to operate the machine at a quick pace, the system takes the weight snapshot and adds it up automatically such that the working time is not at all compromized.

Better Leveling - Smooth Roads
The Big Sonic-Ski® with its unique feature which helps eliminating the use of string line while laying the BC layers where smoothening of the road is taken care over road waves, which make the top surface super fine. The innovating measuring method with five ultrasonic sensors and its reliability make the Sonic-Ski together with the MOBA-matic controller a state of the art system for leveling control. With the MOBA Big Sonic-Ski® non-contact averaging system, made using three such Sonic-Ski® over a length of 13 meters the paver produces the smoothest road surface by averaging out irregularities over long distance and thus improves the mat quality even when the reference is less than perfect. Resurfacing of the roads could not be this easy, even with on-going traffic as the Big Sonic-Ski does not require string line. MOBA has delivered four sets of Big Sonic-Ski® system for the prestigious F-1 race track and several to end users and esteemed OEMs for highway projects as well.A recent development by MOBA has completely changed the perception of possible automation on drilling machines and drilling rigs. MOBA has come up with a low cost Drill Depth Control System, MDM-100.
