The screen deliver production output with capacity for up to 500 tonnes per hour. Mr. Palagiri mentioned, "In order to guarantee an optimal material outflow, the feed hopper has a very large feed capacity and opens in the direction of the material flow. Loading is effected using a wheel loader, but is also possible with an upstream crushing plant. If this has a lower discharge height, the side panels of the feed hopper can be removed for improved loading."

Wirtgen Track Screen Plants

The MS 953 EVO is equipped with a large feeding conveyor with a width of 1200 mm, whose incline can be adapted hydraulically to the material flow. The screen angle of the screen box can be varied for different applications for efficient classification. Mr. Palagiri added, "Thanks to the use of impact plates at the conveyor discharge and at the screen feeding area, the material is evenly distributed and the plant is protected against wear. Support feet at the screen box ensure enhanced stability when loading with the wheel loader."

The screen media of the MS 952 and MS 953 EVO can also be changed quickly for different operating requirements. The screen media are easily accessible from all sides and are secured with wedges. Other service components, such as the large engine compartment, are also easy to service. There are useful additional options for the plant. An optional belt cover and a water system at the fine grain discharge conveyor are offered to reduce the amount of dust when working in densely populated areas.

ACE Concrete Placing Boom ACP Series
Explaining about the new products innovative features, he says, "Our Topless Tower Crane has a compact design, as it does not have a Tower Head. The main benefit of using this crane is its quick and easy erection and dismantling as it can work with low overhead clearances. The crane is best suited for construction of projects near Airports and also at sites where number of Tower Cranes are working close to each other. In the absence of Tie rods, the Jib lengths can be reduced almost upto 20mtrs, making it safer for tower cranes to work in close proximity of each other."

Informing about the feature of concrete placing boom, he avers, "Climbing concrete placing boom is mainly consists of tower body, climbing frames, slewing mechanism, upper-lower pedestals, boom assembly, hydraulic system, electrical system, etc., and is suitable for placing concrete up to diameter of 70 mtrs during construction of high-rise buildings. It is fixed in the lift shafts or floor openings and climbing is achieved through hydraulic power pack. Placing boom is controlled by a radio remote for ease of operation."

He further adds, "Our Spider Type concrete placing boom mainly consists of boom assembly, slewing mechanism, upper & sub pedestals, base frame, hydraulic system, electrical system, etc., and is suitable for placing concrete up to a diameter of 42 mtrs during construction of high-rise buildings. The benefits of using spider type placing booms are: it can be placed in suitable places required without being fixed. It features compact structure, light weight and can be lifted as a whole by a tower crane and if the tower crane is of smaller capacity i.e. 6 t it can be split in to 3 parts with heaviest part of 2.4 tons max and can be shifted easily with existing crane. Moreover, with excellent maneuverability, it can meet the requirements for concrete placement on different job sites and is ideal for concrete pumping and placing."

ACE has introduced 3 models in Climbing type with 28m, 32m and 35m boom lengths and 4 models in Spider type with 12m, 15m, 17m, and 21m boom lengths.

Macons Unveils High Capacity Concrete Batching/Mixing Plants

Macons launched its high capacity concrete batching/mixing plant MAC-112 with twin shaft mixer in EXCON-2015.

Macons Concrete Batching Plant
This series of plants has been introduced in India for the first time. It is a very compact Plant with the entire structure requiring very minimum civil foundations (only four footprints) in comparison to any of the conventional plants. The plant is supplied in a ready-to use condition in completely pre-wired and pre-piped condition and hence, no erection time is lost. It also allows the clients to save time and money through easy transportation and lighter assembling works it entails while shifting plant from one site to another. This series of plants is provided with the latest Batching software.

The MAC model especially designed for the production of concrete at sites where the quality, flexibility and performance are the key features. The plant is made up in welded construction of steel profiles. The complete structure is shot blasted before the primary coat of paint being implemented. Two coats of paint are applied on elements such as stairs, balconies, pavements, discharge mouths of the aggregates bins to resist corrosion. The plant can be used for many applications including Ready-Mix Concrete production, Bridge, Jetty, Road, Canal, Building, Industrial park, Airport runway, and many more.

The most important advantage of MAC is that it requires less maintenance and provides more than 100% production which in turn leads to decrease in cost of production. The othersalientfeaturesare:
  • longer life to wear and tear parts, In- built control cabin not as an optional
  • Excellent mixing quality
  • In-built pipeline of water, additive, and Pneumatic

Evonik: Reach out to a New Level of Efficiency with DYNAVIS® Technology Formulated Hydraulic Fluid

At this year's Excon, Evonik Industries presented its DYNAVIS® technology and demonstrated how it can bring a new level of efficiency to hydraulic fluids.

DYNAVIS® technology from Evonik optimizes the viscosity of hydraulic fluids. Here's how: like most oils, hydraulic oils lose viscosity at high temperatures. In this state, the hydraulic fluid transfers less hydraulic energy through the hydraulic fluid system, because it has become hot and thin-bodied; "internal leakage" within the system increases and efficiency drops in the desired direction of flow.

In contrast, using a fluid formulated with DYNAVIS® technology results in less internal leakage and the hydraulic fluid system retains its efficiency, even at high temperatures. At the other end of the temperature scale, in extreme cold, oils become increasingly viscous and more difficult to pump. As a result, the hydraulic system consumes more energy, primarily through its pump drive. Here too, fluids formulated with DYNAVIS® technology reduce the pump's energy consumption.

"Last year, we brought DYNAVIS® technology to the China market. With this hydraulic fluid formulated to DYNAVIS® technology standards, Jinhua Junda Excavator Fittings, a machinery corporation, gained 7% fuel savings in normal operating conditions", says Carlos Vernet, Marketing Manager, DYNAVIS® Asia Pacific.

Evonik DYNAVIS Hydraulic Fluid

Effective this month, Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) is offering its customers hydraulic fluids formulated with DYNAVIS® technology. "We are confident of introducing DYNAVIS® technology to our local customers. With the robust marketing tools of DYNAVIS® technology, we can demonstrate easily to the hydraulic equipment owners and operators (e.g. excavators, loaders, etc.) the proven results of higher levels of fuel efficiency and productivity," says Mr. K.L. Murthy, Executive Director (Lubes) for IOCL.
