BULL SMART is a result of three years of painstaking R&D and continuous testing. This machine is developed keeping just two things in mind i.e. Indian working conditions and Indian customers.
The result is BULL SMART, which is neither a big machine nor a small one. It is a smart machine, with 28 per cent lesser initial capital investment and 31 per cent lower running cost vis-à-vis popular backhoe loader brand. Due to its faster cycle time and shorter hydraulic circuit, it is capable of similar output with lesser cost resulting in better economics and higher return on investment.
Key technical specifications of BULL SMART Backhoe Loader: Backhoe Bucket – 0.23 cubic metres; Loader Bucket – 0.90 cubic metres with payload capacity of 1,300 kg; Engine – Kirloskar 4R810, 60 HP turbocharged; 4 cylinder, BSIII emission compliant; and transmission – Carraro.
Major benefits of BULLSMART
- Edge over other similar assets w.r.t. commercial (including pricing) and technical aspects.

Nawa’s Perspective on CSE Industry
With massive infrastructure construction activity underway in India for the last few years, the Crushing and Screening Equipment are now detached exclusively from being a mining sector domain to the core construction sector domains.
The very need for millions of tons of road base materials, concrete mixes and asphalt mixes has pitch forked the need of Crushing & Screening Equipment (CSE) into the forefront of the Construction Equipment (CE) Industry.
CSE convert hard rocks into aggregates. The machinery used for mineral sizing and hard rock being mostly the same - the manufacturers, both multinational and domestic players, of CSE have turned their entire focus on aggregate/quarry industry. Stone crushing which hitherto looked down as low end business has now prominently occupied the same status as that of CE sector. The roadside 30-50 TPH crusher plants have been transformed into 300-500-900 TPH high-tech aggregate plants.
The CSE manufacturing sector has grown multifold. Indigenous players have developed new and high capacity primary jaw crushers, secondary & tertiary hydraulic cone crushers, horizontal shaft impact crushers, vibrating screening equipment and complete plant installations to meet ever increasing demand for aggregates for the national highways projects, state road projects, dam construction, airports, sea ports, urban infrastructure development, power projects and commercial RMC plants.
Multinational manufacturers have had a field day and continue to flourish. Many of them have setup their manufacturing base here as India will be their major source of business. Many new players have set foot on Indian shores from all corners of the world, and numbers are increasing foreseeing a boom period of much larger scale in 2010-20 and beyond.
The CSE sector too has matured and is able to produce crushing and screening equipment to world standards and compete with the multinationals.
NAWA leads the pack in the Indigenous CSE Manufacturers segment for manufacturing low to very high end capacities.

CSE Industry Demand Forecast
According to CPCB forecast, the CSE Industry is expected to churn out nearly 45 billion tonnes of aggregates needed as supply of raw material aggregate needed for the core Construction & Infrastructure (CI) Industry till 2013 to produce the various projected roads, dams, ports, industrial corridors, high speed rail corridors projects. This demand is expected to increase to nearly triple to 135 billion tones of aggregates by the end of the 12th Five Year Plan. This translates to a requirement of over 26,500 CSE plants by 2017 end making this a niche and leading CE industry segment in terms of CE share.
NAWA seeks to take a lion share of this CSE market forecast.

NAWA seeks to take a lion share of this CSE market forecast.
CSE Industry Sector Forecast
The impending slowdown forecast across the western world due to financial debt conditions and near zero investment forecast for the saturated core infrastructure segments in those countries for the next five years, it is clear that the India and China will be the core focus of all Foreign CE Companies. This also puts the pressure on Indian government to come out with more clear guidelines for the mining, ports and every Infrastructure sectors. With a trillion dollar investment envisaged in the 12th 5 years plan, it has become vital to avoid scams and ensure transparency of development of the CE Sector.

For the CSE Sector -
A) 2012-13: the demand will be overwhelmingly more for the tyre based mobile plant configurations
B) 2012-17: the demand for concrete sector picks up due to sectoral demands and hence NAWA will introduce its integrate batching plants to provide an end to end aggregate to concrete provision CSE plant configurations.
C) 2013-17: the demand in mining sector will pickup leading to a demand for track based mobile plant configurations
NAWA seeks to introduce the entire range of equipment (from low to the highest capacities) as per the demand of the CSE market. While the foreign competition is a risk factor, NAWA is better placed with its indigenous technologies to service the need of CSE equipment with equivalent or more quality at much lower prices than the foreign counterparts.

Technology can Streamline RMC Business
RMC industry is experiencing an exponential growth presently. And almost all CEOs are keen to deriving maximum benefits from the opportunities arising. They are in to intense planning for expanding horizons and reaching new heights.
The preparatory measures include streamlining production and business processes, finding permanent solutions for productivity and quality enhancement, material management and inventory, data security & performance analyses, inducting personnel and defining roles, fixing responsibilities and setting up processes, improving efficiency and setting up infrastructure, identifying credible vendors and standardizing products and solutions and the list is apparently endless.
A RMC CEO has to face numerous challenges to manage the business effectively. Rapidly growing customer demands for increased supply and quality assurance, product consistency and timely delivery is adding to the pressure put by an already dynamic industry.
Now is the time which warrants the business owners to be well-informed about the entire range of benefits that automation could offer them. Since the day of manual mixing of concrete to present times of complete automation, concrete industry has traveled great distance. During this tenure, process automation has made significant contribution in propelling the industry growth. With semi automatic production in early days, followed by the use of microprocessor controlled devices, then by a genre of PLC based fully automatic systems, followed by incorporation of SCADA in batching systems; this technology too has evolved considerably.
Using a batching system just to streamlining production is like a job half done. We really can derive a bunch of benefits from a good batching system. It should provide for plant and personnel safety, reduce plant wear and tear, reduce break down time, and be able to store & protect your data and easy generation of production, consumption and analytical reports.
The significance of a good batching system in effectively managing production process is unquestionable. Now, the industry decision makers have to try identifying an appropriate batching system which will resolve all the production issues and achieve benchmark in productivity, quality and performance.
In addition to implementing technology solutions to managing production, CEOs have to identify and apply technology intervention to facilitate business process management. A CEO definitely needs to improve business efficiency by defining and automating the business process and bring absolute control all business activities.
In fact, concrete business is heading towards centralized monitoring and control. The decision makers want absolute control of his business and would wish to centrally monitor and analyze business activities across the country. The spread and complexities of this business need a powerful tool to help decision makers across departments and hierarchy.
IDS introduces a cutting edge technology solution to empower the CEO. IDS has integrated new age automation with IT realm to offer world of imaginative solutions specifically designed for RMC industry.
Without going for expensive ERP solutions, a CEO can still get the benefit of the expensive ERP platforms and aim for more.
IDS's new BIZ solutions can connect decision makers to each RMC site and provide real time account of site activities. As a business head by choosing IDS Batch solutions, the industry CEO is empowered greatly as he gets the real time status of his organizational activities on his finger tip.
Thus, by adapting two diverse technology solutions offered by IDS, RMC industry CEOs can achieve complete control of their businesses.

Officine Meccaniche EME

Mr. Alessandro Guerra
Managing Director of Officine Meccaniche EME

About the company he said, our company started to produce mechanical transmission in 1962. Actually our main market is Europe but we are also getting overwhelming responses from other European markets such as South Africa and Brazil. In China as well some agricultural vehicles are working with our applications. Our products are suitable for many different applications including industrial, agricultural etc, he added.
FAE Group S.p.A

Mr. Diego Facchinetti,
Sales Manager, Asia Pacific.
Elucidating his point, he said that we will need to focus on specific projects/applications and explain in detail the productivity and cost-effectiveness of using the FAE industrial mulchers, road stabilizers, profilers and rock crushers. Due to the lack of high HP prime movers in India, tractors for example are only manufactured/sold up to 75 HP, we need to introduce complete packages which is another challenge.

Explaining the functionality of its machines he stated, FAE machines are aimed at contractors or large project based organizations which need an efficient and ecological way to clear land from vegetation and standing trees of any height and size, from stones and rocky reefs. Moreover, we aim at contractors who need to refurbish gravel roads, farm to market roads, municipal, asphalt and bitumen roads. FAE rock crushers, soil stabilizers, asphalt grinders can recycle rocks up to 700 mm in diameter, rocky reefs and asphalt in order to create a very homogeneous mix of gravel stones and soil. This can be compacted to 100% compaction levels. Cement, lime/chemical binders can be added, also through the spraying systems on our machines, to obtain a strong base for heavy traffic, without the need to use traditional capital intensive road machinery commonly used by road contractors.
As FAE implements can be driven by agricultural tractors, excavators, skid steers, etc., it seems natural that our development should come through a network of existing machinery dealers. However, the novelty and little knowledge of our technology by the Indian market make this a complicated road. We believe the introduction must first be done by means of specific projects and, once the first case studies have been publicized, a second phase of market penetration will begin, he said, adding that FAE Group also manufactures dedicated Prime Movers up to 600 HP with crawler tracks which can be used in forestry as well as in road refurbishing and mining operations. The mining industry might create interesting opportunities for FAE technology, especially in refurbishing and improving access and haul roads in order to make the operations smoother and save money on dump truck tires.
