In India, Infrastructure development is amongst the focused priorities of the government with large scale investments planned in both public works as well as private projects. In India, the condition of most of the roads is bad, especially during the monsoons. Water entering the roads is the main cause for damage. Bridge Deck Waterproofing

STP Ltd. provides bridge deck waterproofing using SuperThermoLay APP membranes. These membranes prevent the ingress of water into the bridge concrete, thus, preventing harmful ingredients from damaging the concrete. STP has done this successfully on a number of bridges in India. The process involves application of Shalitex Primer followed by tourching of SuperThermoLay APP membrane 3 or 4mm thick, followed by an overlay of bituminous wearing course, and finally application of ShaliSeal RSTC.
