NBM&CW wins CIDC Vishwakarma Awards 2010 for Best Construction News Magazine

The Chairman Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister, Dr C Rangarajan, presented the 2nd Construction Industry Development Council (CIDC) Vishwakarma Awards to winners in a colorful and glittering ceremony held at New Delhi. The Awards instituted by the CIDC functioning under the Planning Commission, are given annually to individuals and organizations for their immense and outstanding contribution to the construction industry and infrastructure development.

NBM&CW, a globally acclaimed civil engineering magazine and a premier publication of NBM Media Group, has been conferred with this year’s Vishwakarma Award for Best Construction News Magazine with a Scroll and Commemorative Medal. Mr. S A Faridi, Editor received the award on behalf of magazine. The Chief Editorial consultant of the group, S K Khanna, was given Scroll and Commemorative Trophy for his outstanding contribution to the construction industry spanning a period of over four decades through his incisive writing & championing the cause of Indian Construction Industry.

The jury comprising eminent personalities and captains of construction industry was unanimous in its decision selecting the NBM Media Group, as the best among the rest catering to the construction industry and prominently highlighting issues confronting construction and allied industries with particular reference to quality equipment machinery, outputs, innovative concrete processing methods and creating benchmark in the Indian construction sector.
