HCC Bags $66mn order from Hindalco
Hindustan Construction Company Ltd (HCC) has secured two orders aggregating US$66 million (Rs 299.36 crore) from Hindalco Industries Ltd to fabricate pot superstructure and complete civil and reinforced cement concrete (RCC) structural work for potline for the Aditya aluminum smelter project at Lapanga, Sambalpur, Orissa.
The first order worth US$22 million (Rs 100.36 crore) comprises designing, engineering, procurement and fabrication of pot superstructures and is expected to be completed in 19 months from the date of issue of this order.
The other order envisages entire civil and structural work involving site grading, civil and architectural work for potline. The order is valued at US$44 million (Rs 199 crore) and is expected to be completed in 15 months from the date of issue of the order.
