Venus Equipment: “To display our innovative products, create brand awareness and form new technology collaborations to meet the rising demands of the construction industry will be our focus during bauma Conexpo India,” says Mr. Jigar Patel, Marketing Manager, Venus Equipment.

What would be the company’s focus during its participation at bauma Conexpo India 2016?

Our focus during bauma Conexpo is to create brand awareness in the market and showcase our product range to the visitors and to gain the faith of the corporate clients. Apart from this, our focus is also on new technology collaborations to meet the rising demands of the construction industry.

What products and services will be launched/displayed at the show?

This time, we are going to exhibit our new model of mobile batching plant CCP 45 which is very compact and easy to shift at construction sites. The machine is fully automatic having discharge height of 2.3 meter, which makes it suitable for concrete pumping. Apart from this, we are going to exhibit two variants of concrete fix form road and canal paver which are designed to meet the requirement of concrete road works. Even 60 CuM batching plant with unique twin shaft mixer will be displayed at our outdoor stall.

Higher uptime, low operating cost, strong after-sales service, and spare parts availability have become key selling points. How is your company strengthening its position in these areas?

Nowadays, construction work is going on at full swing and clients need prompt service back-up and quality products to complete the projects on time. Keeping this in mind, we have strategically established our network across India where we have kept all the required spares well in stock. Our dedicated service engineers have a sound knowledge of the products to support the after-sales services of the given territory. Apart from this, we have designed a centralised system to monitor the after-sales service and get client feedback. We are taking periodic client reviews to meet the new requirements of the market as well as for product performance improvement.

What is your outlook on the growth of the CE industry in India?

There are so many government promoted infrastructure projects like smart cities, highway expansions, DFCC, new bridges and dams, etc. A huge demand for construction equipment is going to arise to meet the requirements. So the future of the construction equipment is very bright in the coming years. However, we feel that the government should promote “Made in India” construction equipment in a bigger way because nowadays the industry is facing very stiff competition from Chinese manufacturers who are dumping their products at very low prices in the Indian market. The government should take some corrective measures to safeguard the interests of Indian construction equipment manufacturers. Overall, the market prospect is very bright for the near future.
